Overview:
“I usually charge but because it’s not busy today I will take you around the city for free” – Lying Tuk Tuk Driver. Don’t fall for the tuk tuk scam. Tuk Tuk’s are open air taxi’s they may tell you that they’ll show you around the city for free, but they will end up taking you to random establishments where they receive a commission for bringing you there. You’ll be pressured to buy things from the establishments and will be expected to tip the tuk tuk for wasting your time at the end of the ride. Bangkok is a huge metropolis that resembles New York. This city is packed with tons to do and places to see and the climate is tropical with rainy season being from July to October. Things are cheap here as well, and there are plenty of tourist attractions that are worth your time and money. The nightlife will give you plenty of things to do at night, as well as a rich dating experience if you’re into it. Bangkok, Thailand is definitely a must-see.

The Women:
“You’re handsome, can I come to your room?” – Random Ethiopian chick that stopped me as I was walking to my Airbnb. Unlike neighboring Pattaya there are many regular girls in Bangkok but because these girls are not all pros expect to hear “no” occasionally or just have her walk away from you like you just hit her with a “yo ma, what’s your sign?” If you’re a white guy you will likely have no problem meeting women here as they will typically view you as the gold standard. If you’re black it will be slightly harder but still much easier to pull here than almost anywhere else in the world so don’t cry just yet. Thai girls are curvier than girls in China or Korea but are still fairly thin so if you are looking for thickums hit up a hip hop club but more on that in the nightlife section. Thai women are tan skinned with some being lighter. Stay away from the other nationalities in the city unless you want to pay for it. Many women from poor countries all over the world come to work here as pros. While not every foreign woman in the country is a pro any foreign woman that you meet sitting alone at a bar probably is. Most people speak English here so there shouldn’t be a language barrier. You can meet women in the day time at the malls, Terminal 21 is good but there are others as well. At night time head to the bars or clubs that I will talk about in the nightlife section.

Must Do:
Hit up the tiger zoo to take pictures with live tigers and sit on the backs of crocodiles. You can also ride elephants! Check out the beautiful temples that they have here and take pictures, they come in handy when you need evidence to show your mom that you didn’t just come here to get laid.

Nightlife:
The City is huge so there’s no single main nightlife area like in Pattaya. I recommend the Sugar Club if you’re into hip hop. Clubs are more expensive than they are in Pattaya so bring some cash. Hip Hop clubs in Thailand tend to have the girls that like black guys and house music and rock clubs tend to have the ones that prefer white guys. I went to Sugar Club every night by myself walked up to random girl’s vip tables picked the one I wanted, danced and took them home with me every night no payment required. Nana Plaza and Soi Cowboy are places where you can find Thailand’s version of strip clubs called GoGo Bars/ Clubs and they are both within walking distance of each other.

Food:
Food here isn’t the greatest but Terminal 21 has some good restaurants. I suggest you eat Thai food because the American food in Thailand does not taste like American food at all since they use different seasonings.

Where to Stay:
I stayed near Nana Plaza but this can be more expensive because of all of the nightlife options nearby. Just find a place that looks decent as there really is no one central location to be in a city this big.

Getting Around:
The metro system is huge here and can get you from place to place cheap; Google Maps can help you locate which stops to get off at. Taxis’s are cheap but make sure you get into a metered taxi to avoid getting ripped off.
